Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hi Everyone, Allow me to introduce my wife and myself, Lee & Tom. We have been RVing since 1989 and have had 3 Winnebago motorhomes. Our first one was a 1987 24' Minnie Winnie on a Ford which we bought used and thoroughly enjoyed it. From that one we went to a 1996 31' Minnie Winnie on a Ford which had a super floorplan and took us across country for the first time. At present we own a 2004 33' Adventurer on a WCC which not only has a great floorplan but handles beautifully. We also tow a Honda Civic on a Roadmaster Tow Dolly. I have been in various chat rooms and forums and started out with RV America, RV.net and from there went to IRV2 where I normally can be found. I will now visit this forum and chat room although we don't intend to be fulltimers. I also have had the pleasure of meeting and knowing a few of your present members including JA-Texas. We both enjoy RVing and in 2010 we will make the trip to Alaska for our 50th Wedding Aniversary. It should be the ultimate trip that we will have taken although the National Parks in Utah are hard to beat.
. . . and welcome! This is a great site for full-time RVers, part-time RVers and anyone interested in RVing. The ultimate goal of many is to chuck it all, crank up and leave. However, that is not a requirement to gaining very important knowledge, wonderful relationships and a sense of community from those that contribute to this site.
Come often, learn what you seek and make some friends.
Charles

Thanks Charles for that introduction. Lee and Tom welcome to our forum. We are so glad that you chose this forum to post in. We love to have new folks join in our group. If we can help you out just chime in. You will find that this bunch of folks are the greatest. Howard and Linda have put together a great site here and we all are one big family. Welcome to the family.
