Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Welcome to the friendliest forum on on the Internet. As you've discovered, everyone is friendly here and no one minds answering questions about the lifestyle.
We like to tell everyone that there are no "dumb" questions asked here. Everyone has to start out sometime, and even though some questions may be very basic, none of us mind helping the new RVers to get started.
I just wish there would have been a web site and forum like this when we started out.
Jim

Hello! After finally getting around to reading thru Howard and Linda's RV Forum, decided to avoid being a 'Lurker" any longer! My name is Sherry and the hubby's name is Mark. We've lived in the Dallas Texas metroplex our entire lives and currently live just East of downtown Dallas. I just retired from AT&T (Yipppeee!!) and the hubby will be free by the end of January 2009. We plan to hit the road as fulltimers by mid-February.
After reading some of the rules, I'll be posting notes on a couple of the other subjects regarding RV and Truck purchases, as we're still trying to make the final decision on which we'll be buying in the next few weeks. We hope to have lot's of great discussions on this forum...although I must admit, never been in or a part of any online forum before. It's not that I'm not comfortable with PC's, spent 95% of my work life on one--just never became engaged in any.
Hope to see you down the road!~

Hey, we're Goldwingers too. Sounds like we have the beginnings of an RV-Dreams Goldwingers Club . We haul ours around on a lift on the back of our Class A DP.
Any other Goldwingers out there?

We have a 2002 Goldwing that we triked about a couple of years ago after putting over 75,000 miles on it. We have a dolly that we use to pull it behind our motorhome. It now has about 103,000 miles and they aren't rolling up near as fast now that we are pulling it behind our rig!
Yes, we're Gold Wingers as well. We're Larry and Robin of www.gypsylarry.com
Fulltiming begins this January 23rd, yes in a few short weeks. Heading out of Pittsburgh for the sunny skies of Florida for a few months, towing the GoldWing and '08 Jeep Sahara in a 28' Classic trailer.
