Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Just wanted to introduce my self to this fine forum.
My DW and I started our full timing in October 2004. She retired from a trust deptment in a bank in Cleveland Ohio... and I handed in my turn out gear to the Elyria Ohio Fire Service as well. Both of our daughters had moved out of Ohio after college so our decision to full was far easier than many of you face... as you consider leaving behind family and friends.
Our first BIG trip was the summer of 2005... Alaska or Bust ! We had a fantastic time... planting seeds that one day will take us back, to see what we missed on that 3 month Adventure. Since then we've wandered about... following the the seasons.
Thanks for the forum... a fantastic place for those wishing to learn all they can before they decide what type of RV lifestyle they want to try.
Welcome to the friendliest forum on the Internet, Marv.
Yes this is a great site for learning about the life-style. New thoughts and ideas are always welcome here, so feel free to jump right in and give your opinion when you can.
Oh, and I'll bet you'll even learn some new things here, I know I have and we've been doing this for quite a while.
