Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

5 years and still going strong...

We're new to RV Dreams and looking forward to enjoying all it has to offer.  5 years ago we purchased a VW Campervan in Holland and camped our way through 29 countries in 24 months.  Getting back in April 06 we picked up our MH and have started our FT'ing in the "America's".  We have had the opportunity to meet some of the finest people out there and if it weren't for traveling, we wouldn't have so many great "Vagabonding" friends.  I look forward participating in forums and reading as many blogs as I can...

We just spent a week in Scotland. (not Rving). We were amazed at the amount of Rvers there. Of course the campgrounds are called Caravan parks. The Rv's are quite small compared to what we are accustomed. Saw only one large Class A and wondered how they ever would be able to drive off the main highways. It appeared there was only electrical hookup up in the parks. No water, no sewer. Is that common?

Welcome aboard!

Camping is very strong in most of the European countries.  As far as the class "A" rv's, there are very few.  The infrastructure just wont allow much of their "comfortable" use.  We did find one family that spent a lot of their time camping in bus stations...the only place that was large enough to pull into.  We did find water and electricity available in just about every campground we were in.  As far as waste, it was not available at your site.  Most of those that used their black and gray tanks used the "BlueBoy's" and dumped at special locations at the restrooms.

Joel and Louise,

I've been following your blog for quite sometime. It's so nice to "bump into people" here on "the Internets".

Judy, it is nice to bump into fellow travelers...  We're now into our 5th year and have really enjoyed the opportunities we've had in getting together with our new "neighbors".  We'll look forward to seeing you down the road some day.
