Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Bob and I have bought a small piece of land in N.M. again to live on. After fulltiming for 2 yrs it is just not for us. We shall keep the RV and just do 3 months in and 3 months out. Will travel to a warmer place in the winters however. We have decided to build a small southwest dwelling on it as we consider N.M. our adopted home and just havent found any other place we like better. Most of all I am missing belonging to a community with people again. southwestjudy
Congratulations on your land purchase. And it's great that you have found your niche. That's really what life should be - finding where you fit and loving it. Enjoy!

Congrats on your purchase! We full-timed for 22 mos. before buying a house in Denver, our favorite spot. While we don't regret our time on the road, we never planned for it to be forever. We are happy to be back in a community with friends our own age again.
Thanks all, for the "best of good wishes", on still yet another new adventure for us. We will still be traveling but not full time. Our little casita will give us a nest to perch upon when we desire to do so.... RV Dude there are 2 campgrounds by the lake one on each side of it so lots of places to stay. Also storage for sailing boats, along with a golf course, not that we will partake in golf but maybe sailing. southwestjudy
Hey Judy what were we....I thought we were a community??? OK I have to have your address so I can come and visit...Sherri and I had you tagged for a least a couple of meals while on the road. Better stay on the forum and come see us on chat no matter what!
Hey Speedy .......we will continue to still be on the forum here and do our journal. This is just a different kind of community!! Our plans for what is to be built won't happen till next summer as we are conversing back in forth with phone calls, fax' and emails now and will be heading to Florida for winter at least that is our plan for now. southwestjudy
Judy, That's very interesting... we too fell in love with New Mexico. We will be heading there first when we leave Canada in Nov. We plan to take a closer look around this time. May I ask what area you are near?
