Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Can I get Escapees magazine without being an Escapees member?

Hi everyone! New member and my name is Jon. My wife and I would like to go fulltiming but it will be 10 years down the road.  In the meantime, we thought it would nice to have a good RV magazine to read and I hear Escapees would be great.  However, I don't see a way to subscribe without being an Escapees member. Am I just missing the subsciption page somewhere? And if it isn't possile to subscribe without being a member, can anyone recommend a similar magazine?

You have to be a member to get the magazine. We joined the Escapees a couple of years before we went full-timing to help us get ready to make the move.

I know it's an added expense, but you might consider joining. They've got a lot of info that is only available to members.

Even if you are not a fulltimer you can still enjoy some of the benefits of belonging to the Escapees Club. There are local Escapees Clubs that meet regularly in each state - if you were close enough you could join in with them. Then there are other regional rallies that you just might like to attend as well. You certainly could try it for a year and if you felt you weren't getting "the bang for your buck" just don't renew. Good luck on your planning and I am sure you will enjoy weekend and vacation RVing trips along the way.
