Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

New Blog About RV Modifications

Hi Everyone!

New member here. I'm a wanabe fulltimer but I have quite a few years to go before my wife and I can take to the open road. In the mean time, I'm doing a lot of modifications to my current RV and started a blog about mods you can make yourself. So far, there are 51 mods on the site, with pictures and links to resources for parts and reference. Here is the link:

http://www.modmyrv.com

Hope you like it. I put a lot of work in to it. It's hard to keep up with blogging a new mod every day. So I'm going to blog a mod every few days now and see if that helps me not get burnt out! My goal is to get to 101 mods by the end of September and then I'll see where to take the blog next.

Now I have to go through all the other blog links posted here and see if there are any goodies that could inspire me!

I've been reading your blog for awhile and find it interesting.  It's great to have so many ideas located in one place for easy reference.

Thanks for the compliments. One other reason I started the blog is because I couldn't find one source to go to for mods. There are some great resources out there but nearly all of them are forum-based, and can get hidden within the other forums they are a part of. Using a blog and forum combined gives me the most visibility in sharing the mod love. ;)

Nice blog!

I have done so many modifications to our coach that I could probably do a blog about it myself. Yours is good though and I enjoyed reading.

Right now I am in the midst of replacing the rear analog television with a new digital one. We have already done the front one. We replaced the 32 inch plasma (heavy), with a new 40 inch LCD. We have removed a sofa and put in a cabinet along the wall where it was and put in to Stressless recliners.

Did you put in one of those cabinets that has drawers on each side and a table fits end first into the center? Do you have a picture of your cabinet?
