Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

    My wife and I are in the process of getting the house ready for the market. I sure wish I would have done this 3 years ago. But anyway, we are selling the B&S house and are going to get a 5th wheel and start really living. I am still have about 10 years to retirement, but really only have to work half the year to maintain my health and retirement benefits. My wife has a business that she can run from anywhere. Hpoefully the house gets a sign by November and sold by next spring. We can't wait.

Hi there, Lowcounty!  Welcome to a really great site.  We're not fulltimers yet but do have our house for sale and are just waiting for the next step.  At least you've decided on what type of rig...we keep going back & forth between MHs and fivers.  I like one and he likes the other smile

Welcome, Lowcountry, to the friendliest and most informative fulltime forum on the web.  Like others have said, "There are NO stupid questions."  We've all had our share of questions and mishaps.  And we're more than willing to share our experiences. 

Good luck on selling the house.  Ours goes on the market this fall.  Thankfully, it's paid for and we were able to get on the road this past June.  I agree with you.  Wish we had sold 3 years ago.

Ahh, low country. Love the food there, especially shecrab? soup or bisque. Got any good recipe to share? Out home is also on the market, for 1 year now. We also wish we had put it on the market 3 years ago before the economy went to ____. We live in Fort Worth, TX and MH and I both work part time while we are waiting. We wish you luck.

Hello, Lowcountry.

As so many others have been friendly in welcoming us to the forum (see our introduction as Okie newcomers), I find it enjoyable to welcome you as well.  (Even though you joined the forum before we did.)

We are also in the process of trying to sell our B&S to live in a 38 foot fiver until we retire in about 6 or 7 years.
