Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Just found this forum. We have been rv'ing for 27 years. Had travel trailers and a couple of motorhomes before buying our 2006 Newmar Essex. We live in Seattle in our home in the summer and at Outdoor Resorts Motorcoach Country Club, in Indio, CA where we enjoy our RV lot in the winter.
Retired about 6 years ago. Travel mostly in the fall and spring. Getting ready to fly back down to Indio, pick up the coach and travel to the Newmar International Rally in Du Quoin, IL via Arizona, Texas, Arkansas, Branson and then make our wake home.
Looking forward to participating in the forum here, both learning and sharing knowledge.
Joe and Kay Demarte

Glad you decided to join our friendly family. The people here are great, and are always looking for experienced RVers who are willing to share their knowledge.
Have a great trip to IL. We'll be heading up there after the RV Dreams Rally in June.

Joe and Kay...welcome to our family. We have fun here besides learning from one another Come by often and share some of your experience with all of us. We have a chat room too that we all get on....try it out and meet some of these wild and crazy folks here.
Sandra: We have a group of friends that will be at Outdoor Resorts in the Ozarks at the same time as your rally, or we would. We tried to get in to stay at ABC, but apparently there were two rallies going on (yours and Beaver) that blocked out all the big rig sites, so we made other plans. Hope you all have a good time.

You will find that this forum is a very interesting one for RVers of all ages. Some of us have been RVing for many years and some of us are going to be RVers soon. In any event you will find some very intelligent conversation and no name calling, or ridiculing of any one for any thing they might ask about. We all had to start out one time or another and we all need help some times. Even some of us who have been RVing for many years. Wonderful people make a wonderful forum, and I know you will come to love it as much as I have.

We look forward to your input and hopefully you will enjoy our "company" as well. As has been stated above - we are a friendly bunch and enjoy sharing with one another.
Drive Safely, Have Fun, and God Bless

Hi Joe & Kay, welcome to the forum. I agree with all of the above. These are the friendliest people you will ever talk to. I look forward to reading about your travels & rv tips.
