Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Just wanted to post a review about a great place if you need a hitch, welding or metal fabrication done in Southern California area.

I needed to find a new fifth wheel hitch and contacted several places in the southern California area.  I immediately got that "good vibe" from the guys at Hitchcrafters.  After checking prices, I called Hitchcrafters back and made arrangements to go to the shop to have the hitch installed.

Very professional shop, well organized and the guys there were friendly and did a great job installing the hitch.   Price was comparable to the big camping supplies stores and internet sites.

They do great metal fabrication, they were in the process of building a custom lumber rack for a pickup.  Very good welds and solid design.

Hitchcrafters in Costa Mesa, CA. is a "10" in my book.

Thanks Bear....we need more heads up like this on the forum for those of us traveling that might need repairs etc on the road. I will tuck this away for later reference. Need to get all the family looking out for good places to refer our membership to.

We use the following web site to locate dealer's and service centers as we travel.
It would probably be a good idea to either add them are to reinforce their company.
