Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Creating a website and/or journal - suggestions?

Howard,
I am considering creating a website and blog to chart our journey as we tranisition in Full-timing in the next 12-15 months.  For now I have dabbled with a google blog (blogspot).  I have also checked out MyTripJournal.

I like the way your pictures look on your website and your daily journal.  Do you use a website hosting service?  I also looked at smugmug and see that it is a fee-based service and was wondering why you chose that over the freebies at flikr or picasso?
Yikes!  I just read another entry posted on the same subject....idea
Is there a way to delete a post like this  after having just created it?  I can pick it up from there and ask questions on that post...cry

Thanks
Randy

Randy, contrary to popular beliefs you will not be prosecuted for posting on the wrong forum. Howard is a taskmaster of sorts but all you have to do is look at all the nonsence I have posted and you will clearly see that you have a lot of latitude to work with in here. We are all very forgiving.

Randy, you are fine starting a new topic.  Sometimes a new topic title helps others find the information easier.

But we will link to the other two threads so we don't get too much duplication in the responses.

Here is the link to the thread simply called Blogs.  And here is one to a thread called Blogging For Profit.

But feel free to follow up here with your specific questions not answered in those other threads.  biggrin
