Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

A Newbie

Howdy, y'all.  Just joined this site.  I have met some of the folks on other forums so thought I would check this one out - looks like fun.

Jeanelle and I live in Victoria, TX.  We've RVing since l988 with our 2 kids(who are grown and gone).  We are still working and will be a while longer(gas prices may dictate a LONG while longer-lol).  We spend most of our RV time camping around the south central Texas area.  If any of y'all should happen down this way, please get in touch with us.  We enjoy the RV friends and really like meeting folks.

Oh, My name Wendell(the only one who calls me that is Jeanelle, when she is mad at me.  It seems be quite often(lol).  Everyone else knows me as Wendy and I wish y'all would also.

Jeanelle, sounds like you might have the same problem with Wendell as I have with Joe. He is still Joe when I am mad but he knows that I am mad. Nice to have you join us here at RV Dreams. Joe and I live in Carrollton TX. We are FT in our 5ver but Joe still works. We have 9 mo to 4 years....not really sure yet....but retirment will happen and then color us gone.

Joe and Sherri

Hi Wendy,

Welcome to the best forum on the web.  Also, the nicest folks around.

Since you are in Victoria, I'd be willing to guess that you have camped at Coleta between Victoria and Goliad.  We have been there and really enjoyed the area.

We are fulltimers since 2004 and spend much of the winters in Rockport, TX.

Continue to join in.  We are glad you are here.
