Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I'm the HighwayRanger, and I've just joined the RV-Dreams community! I'm already a nuisance over at the Escapees, IRV2, NuWa Owners, and other forums, so I figured I'd wade in here!
We have a 2007 Itasca Spirit Class C motorhome which is our most recent camping apperatus to be used while raising our twin girls. We rapidly went from tent to pop-up to the Class C. When they leave the nest in about 4 years, my bride and I will get a big fulltime unit of some sort and hit the road!
We enjoy family camping with our girls and the two mutts in the Avatar. And, yes, no animals were harmed during the filming of the Avatar!
We hope to meet you on the road now, or in the future!

Welcome Highway Ranger. Not real sure what is going on in your AVATAR??? Appears to be a dog laying on another??? Anyway welcome to the forum. We are fulltiming in the Dallas area and have a house for sale on Lake Towakoni. I have to w#$%@#k two more years but at least we are living in our RV. Working out all the bugs and ditching all the S T U F F we don't need before we hit the road. I think we should have all our wants and needs figured out by that time. We travel some when we can. As soon as the lake house sales we will have a load lifted from our shoulders. I too hope to meet you on the road.
By way of explanation: I caught the big-bad wolf (Max) in his best WWF pinning of Shelby. Even had his tongue out like he just ate the other half of Shelby!
Good luck selling the lake house!
Roy
