Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Well our fulltiming adventure is coming to an end much shorter than we wanted. Since we aren't traveling anyway, its not that traumatic. The Army has decided that they won't pay campground fees and are moving us into an apartment for the rest of hubby's assignment. So we will be moving in a few weeks.

Richard and Lynn, So sorry to hear you will be leaving your RV and going to an apartment. I know so well how disappointed you must be (from personal experience). Hang in there and know, if you both choose, it is only temporary. I don't know how much longer you all have in the military but just know that "this too shall pass" and if you both decide this is what you want you will be able to return to the full-time lifestyle at a later date. In the meantime, stay in touch on all levels - forums, journals etc. In other words, let us hear from you.
Be happy that you are together. I too was in the military and being with my wife in a RV or an Apt. would have been so much better than the bunker that I occupied. Now that was really camping out. You will have that time and you will cherish it that much more now that you have passed this way.
Thanks for the encouragement. Yes we know even if we can't fulltime right now, we will still be out there on the road whenever we can! And we are very thankful that we are together. Last time hubby was deployed, we didn't get to be together, so very grateful that we could be this time and that he is stateside! (Army Reserves). So if anyone is in the Washington DC area, give us a holler! Although most of you are probably heading south and I don't blame you!
