Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Any owners of this coach out there? Our plans are changing from full-timing to part-timing and a 5er is out of the question. The Concord looks like a good fit for our purpose. Just wondering about pros and cons of this unit. Thanks for any info. Ken Pace
Have never owned one but we hosted at a state park this past summer and a couple from Florida camped in front of us with a coachman concord. They said they really loved it. They seemed very positive and upbeat about having it. They were really enjoying the camping experience. Several years ago Mike and I looked at PleasureWay and were very impressed. The Roadtrek is nice but pricey and the PleasureWay was just as nice with a slightly lower price tag. Good luck in your search.
Part timing has a broad range of definitions from snow birds to weekender to long+ weekenders. We say this to share this observation. We did see a number of B+ and C- rigs out during the last year but we have been amazed at the number of people who have opted for the small tag along trailers pulled by everything from Jeeps to Suburbans. Expecially nice and easy (owners words not ours) are the Airstream Bambi serries, some A-liners, and various versions of the Casita. Also there were many many ultralite tag along trailers with every configuration imaginable. Many of the owners were part time or semi-retired and wanted to use a lighter vehicle to tow and travel at the destination without taking everything with them.
Just an observation. It seems that some of these combinations may give you more bang for your buck. They don't seem to lack features.
