Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Mills-Travels

Greetings from the Lone Star State!  Sandy and I began our RV odyssey in 2005.  We were totally clueless in the beginning, but now we're only occasionally insensible.  We've had a ton of fun swerving into this new lifestyle, and we do love it!  We've also had a few bumps along the way with health issues, and we're still trying to figure out whether we're going to be part-time or full-time as we approach retirement.  Some readers have expressed their enjoyment of our stories, but we think they are just being kind--a trait we have found universal among rv'ers everywhere we go!  See what you think...

Ken,

You're much too kind, but we're glad you find our sophomoric rag readable. We're jealous of your Kemah location, as it is one of our favorite places to stop on the way to Galveston. We can just imagine the wonderful fresh seafood you're enjoying. Cheers and happy trails!

Hi Mike and Sandy,

We also are fellow Texans, well paper Texans that is, and want to say hi.  Although we are fulltimers we could have easily been extended travelers while maintaining a small home.  Either way is a great way to travel the U.S. and make great friends along as you go.  I hope you get all of the health issues behind you and can get on the road as soon as you retire.  Hope we bump into you somewhere in the future as we are Wandering America.

Darrell and Judy,

How nice to hear from you! We have had your blog bookmarked for quite a long time and enjoy it immensely. There are lots of journals out there, but not too many are written so as to be, well, interesting. Yours certainly is, and we would be thrilled to run into you sometime. Thanks for your kind thoughts; we'll keep you posted as we work through our health, work and residence issues that keep us from "slipping the surly bonds" and enjoying your kind of freedom.

Mike and Sandy
