Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

From the Daily Journal Sept 21:

In the middle of my cleaning Linda called.  "Are you ready for this?  You know that voicemail I had?  Well, you'll never guess who it was.  On Tuesday morning of next week, we are going to be interviewed by ____________ !"

Sorry, but we're keeping the name a secret until after the interview.  But it is a national magazine with BIG circulation.  :)

I just want to wait until the interview actually takes place and we know more details so I don't give you incorrect information.  You'll just have to wait and see.

Maybe someone can get a "Guess The Magazine" thread going on the Forum.  :)  "

Ok, here's the thread....

My guess is (may I have 2 please?) Escapees or People.

It is like children waiting for Christmas Morning to open their presents from Santa. Now Santa knows why the children are so excited around the holidays. The anticipation..........I can't wait.

My guess would be "Chiropractor Monthly" (Sorry Linda) or "Trailer Life" (Centerfold) are my guess.

You are both articulate expressing yourselves, so I am sure the interview (article) will be top notch.

We don't know yet when the article will be coming out, but it will be within the next couple of months.  We'll let everyone know when we get our update from the writer.

She is also looking for a couple more folks to interview.  She wants people that are full-timing but still pursuing a career or "regular" job (not workamping) while on the road.  If you or someone you know fits that description and you are interested, please drop us an email or a private message as soon as possible.  biggrin
