Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

FOUR WINDS: WINDSPORT OR HURRICANE Motor Homes

These are presumably lower end models, however I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge, either directly or through others of the Four winds Windsport or Hurricane Motor Homes. Any feed back will be appreciatedsmile. Thanks, Bago.

The only knowledge I have is the 30' Hurricane I looked at last year had a VERY low CCC and the quality of the materials was definitely lower end.

Some years ago some friends had their first experience with a motorhome by borrowing a friend's Hurricane. The friend was willing to let them borrow it because he was going to get rid of it since it was not a good unit. It did do the job of showing our friends how they would do in a motorhome and they ended up buying a different gas motorhome. The person did sell the Hurricane and get something else. This would have been in the late 1990s.

Thanks bjoyce, I also received a reply to an e-mail I sent to Winnebago stating that their motor homes are designed primarily for recreational temporary use. weirdfaceA while ago I received information that some motorhomes are designed for full time use and some for part time use, any ideas on this?
