Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Yesterday, we purchased a Cherokee Travel Trailer!  It has a 5th wheel set up but for a TT.

We also bought a brand new superduty F250.

We are not full timers but one day we will be.  We plan on using it for our weekend getaway.  We are not sure what we will do when we full time but for now, this was a great buy and we are happy with our choices.  biggrin
I have a call as a Children's pastor and have a mission.  My husband has a mission for the elderly.  Until we are called out, we will enjoy as close to part time as we can.

Not famaliar with the Cherokee, be we do have a Cedar Creek.  Even though many rigs available are not thought of as full time rigs for several reasons we have met people full timing in every kind of rig you can imagine and most of them like their rig and will probably have something else in a few years.  If it works for you just enjoy it until you decide you want to do something else.  Occasionally someone finds the ideal rig and stays with for 10+ years but they seem to be in the minority.

We will start in the Cedar Creek but have no expectations it is where we will end up.

Check out the Cedar Creek RV Club on the internet.  I think they host groups from every RV made by Forest River and you should be able to find links and answers from the Cherokee owners page.

Good Luck,
Larry and Jacki
