Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello from Arkansas!

I guess it's time for me to come out of the "lurker's" closet and introduce myself.  I have been following the RV-Dreams journal and probably another two dozen RV journals for over a year.  My husband and I have been traveling the US on our Gold Wing motorcycle and I have been talking more and more about an RV.  We finally started looking and have purchased a new-to-us 35' motorhome.  Unfortunately, we haven't yet taken delivery of it.  Hopefully in the next couple of days.  We had to go with a motorhome rather than a fiver because we want to continue to take the Gold Wing with us and don't want to have to "double tow".  I have already learned so much from the forum and the daily journal but know that we'll have many more questions when we actually get the coach.  Thanks to everyone who has contributed so much valuable information!

Debbie and Frank, welcome to the best RV website!  Glad you came out of lurkdom...and congratulations on the new rig.  We also have a motorhome and really love it.  We are fulltimers, new this year.

There is a lot of experience and wisdom here, as you probably figured out just by reading.  Jump in with your questions and comments.

What brand and floor plan did you get?

Happy Travelssmile

Hello Debbie & Frank,

We, too, are in Arkansas and looking to go full-timing as soon as we sell our cabin in Mountain View.  We also have a Goldwing and have ridden across the US on it and had lots of fun.  We are looking at a fiver, as we already have an F450 to tow it.  Guess we'll do some double-towing when the time comes!

Welcome to the forum and to the "full time" world.  This is a great site and we are SO looking forward to joining all the nice folks out there on the roads.

Have a great week!

We bought a 95 Dolphin 35' with superslide.  This will be our first real camping/RV experience and we didn't want to go too expensive until we were sure we would enjoy it.  It's a 535S model.

We won't be full-timing for awhile yet.  Frank is retired but I'm not.....plus we have some family obligations that will keep us close by.  But we intend to spend quite a bit of time in it (pretending we're full-timing Ha).

Thanks for all the kind welcome notes!

Hi Debbie & Frank,  Welcome to the forum.  There is some Great information here & very smart people.

We won't be able to full time, due to family obligations also.  Hope we can meet sometime down the road.  Good luck with selling your house.
