Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Check out Norm and Linda Payne's website at http://www.seeya-downtheroad.com. They just passed through that area and stayed at Rivertown Campground just south of Vicksburg stating that it was a nice campground with free WIFI.

We checked out the info on this thread - but wondered if anyone had more recent stays in the area? We're headed to Vicksburg in about a week and look forward to touring the National Military Park with the boys. Thanks!
I stayed at the Rivertown Campground for one night a couple years ago. It was inexpensive (I believe $15 at the time). I paid cash so they gave me a discount without asking. It's basically a large parking lot with level sites - no trees. The sites were large and almost all are pull-through. The management was friendly and the CG, including the bathrooms, were clean. There were lots of friendly campers there. I must have given a dozen tours of my little Aliner. I would recommend it for one night if you are passing through the area, or visiting the battlefield park. My brother-in-law was working at the park, and he gave us a free tour.
