Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Wireless laptop solution: Wi-Fire

Hello, all!

I wanted to give a recommendation on a product that has served me well. I know that wireless campgrounds are popping up everywhere, but the internet connections are not always reachable or fast enough.

I use a "Wi-Fire" to combat this. It works right with my laptop’s internal wireless card to increase my wireless access up to three times the signal range. It is great for reaching a signal through walls or a good distance away. I can use it at home and on the road. I wanted to let everyone know about my good find! Enjoy!! I found my Wi-Fire at www.hField.com

Hi Mac!

Welcome to the Forum and thanks for the Wi-Fire recommendation!

Looks like it is just the ticket for those relying on Wi-Fi.  We all know how spotty those RV park Wi-Fi connections can be.  Price is $109 for those interested.

Be sure to pop over and tell us about yourself on the "Introduce Yourself" forum.  smile

We bougt a Hawking High Gain Dish Adapter model HWU8DD.  It looks like a small dish that can be aimed and focused on the signal.  It has made a big difference.
