Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I haven't posted here yet so here goes. Went from gonna be to am. After growing up in Canton, OH area and moving around quite a bit through being an exchange student, the military and college. I got tired of the dark Lake Erie winter clouds that last from October through April, heeded the advice of some friends and family and came to Florida. Stayed with friends in Hudson for a while. Had been thinking about fulltime RV living after growing up camping and vacationing in an RV. Located a website called RV-Dreams. Thought about it, and jumped. Now living in a little campground called Lee's travel park. My Winnegago is now my home. I won't be travelling much right away but, its great to get started. I've met some friendly people and love the area, of course I would rather be in the Grand Tetons . It is a nice area being what it is. Now instead of only living the dream on weekends and vacations, I'm fulltime and enjoying it alot. Hope to see you all at the rally.

Welcome aboard, you will find out lots of info on Howard and Linda's forum. We are now full timers since last Oct. We lived in Pa. in a little town called Bradford where the winters got all the Lake Erie effect snow . Now spending the winters in Tuscon. Thats the "good thing" about rv'ing you can get out of the cold and snow. southwestjudy & Bob & 2blackdogs
Hey Bego, Welcome aboard! You will love this site. Your name cought my eye because several years ago, we had a Winnebago Warrier class C. and were also members of the Central Indiana Winnebago Club called "The Indybagos". On Friday nights, at our rallies, we would put on these silly skits to keep us from gettinjg bored. I did a skit, also about stupid stuff, and my character name was "Windy Bago". Maybe some day I can show you a video of him. We are about two years out from fulltiming and can't wait. Later, "Windy Bago" (Ken Pace)
Thanks guys, I really do like this site! Its great to know we can all share the dream together. My real first name is Okey. I requested Howard and Linda put that on my name tag at the rally next year. My Dad picked that name from my Grandpa on Mom's side. The origin is Old Scandinavian from what I could find. Anyway enough about that. Ken would love to see the vidios, maybe at the rally next year! I also plan to be at the big Tampa RV show this January, anyone else going? Tmcblane how's your tankless hot water heater working?
