Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
A few months ago Phil and I were in what we thought of as year 17.5 of a 20 year plan ...working real jobs and tap dancing as fast was we could.
Then the wheels changed direction as the road turned. I met Tioga George and his crew http://www.vagabonders-supreme.net/ and in no time at all Howard, Linda and this community. Inspiration Highway, Dreamers Turnpike and Hummingbird Heaven.
Last but by no means least, my pending lay off began rapidly approaching...and as of two days ago zoomed by. Much to my surprise and delight (with a trunk full of nerves) we decided to make the leap of faith now...and change gears.
Hi Marie and Phil, Your intro reads like a cliff hanger. I would love to hear "the rest of the story".
GBY ........... Don

Thanks for the notes... I can't wait for the next chapter either.
Today we looked at a MH (yucky one), spent the afternoon at an RV show, and checked out a few 5th wheels from Double Tree. So far no magic answer to our new castle on wheels. It's hard to be patient.
We are looking for a used high quality truck/5th wheel combo or a motorhome in Washington, Idaho or Oregon. We are trying to stick to under $70,000 if possible. Any leads would be awesome!
:whorship:
PS: Preferably one that attracts hummingbirds and great blue herons ~*~
