Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

We Did It! Our First MH Purchase! Checklists for Delivery and Initial Provisioning?

Thanks to all the various inputs we've gotten here!

We put our money down on our new 382DS Sportscoach yesterday.  It is on order and should arrive mid-to-late March.

We'll go down to St. Louis on a Friday after it arrives, do the full inspection and then Howard's will put us up at their lot or a local park in St. Louis whichever we prefer so we can check things out before coming back to Quincy.

We are now off to check out some storage locations in Quincy as well as take a look at a jeep we are considering for tow vehicle.

We have a million questions but one that I think would be good to hit one as soon as possible---does anyone have any links or suggestions on find our own delivery inspection checklist?  Howards RV has shown us an extensive list they use for they day they do the turnover but we wanted to check it against some others if possible to insure we don't miss anything important since we are so new to this.

Also we are beginning to put together our list of everything we will need for provisioning, from various electrical connectors to kitchen condiments.  Anyone ever seen any lists that might be a good start for what we should be thinking about in these initial packing lists?

Thanks in advance from the rookies here for any help you can provide

PDI Checklists are all over the place. Google search or specifically search "pdi checklist" on some popular forums like RV.net, yahoo groups, and iRV2.com. Also look in all the forums for your specific brand/model for an idea of trouble areas you might want to be aware about.
Here's a couple general PDI lists. Lots of stuff on the web.
