Tire upgrade for Class C Sunseeker

We currently have Michelin LT225/75R16E. We need to buy a new tire to replace spare. When we good the rug weighed it was suggested we upgrade tires when it comes time to replace them, but I do not recall what the upgrade should be. Came anyone help with that information.

Me thinks that since this was mentioned at the time of weighing that the "upgrade" was to a higher load range, probably one letter higher. Look on the sidewall of the tire and it should say "Load Range G" or some other letter designation. If it says "Load Range G" the upgrade would be to "Load Range H" and so forth. I wouldn't think that it would be an upgrade in brand of tire as Michelins are fairly well known and generally pretty good tires, but I'm sure some will disagree. Just my two cents, and with that and four bucks you can buy a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

Upgrading to a higher Load Range is always a good idea provided your are willing to tolerate the increased tire pressure...riding, riding, riding.

You’ll be hard pressed to find a heavier LR in the size you have listed. I believe you will need to move up to a larger size DEPENDING on what you are trying to “shoe”. What is the chassis of this class C?
