Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Nov. 22 Health Update!

hmmno A bit of disappointing news! Went to my primary Dr. on Friday, noticed a small amount of wheezing in my lungs. I may have a touch of COPD; ordered a pulmonary bronchial exam. Was given Spiriva inhaler for daily and Albuterol puffer for if I get a quick loss of breath. I feel a bit more secure knowing if I have another bronchial spasm I have something to assist my breathing!

The only other negative is my Choresterol is at 199 again; my fault I stopped the Zocor because it was making my body hurt and ache. DR. has requested the VA to change to another type. What works for one is necessarily not good for all because of our body chemistry.

I also have an apt Monday to get a broken Left bottom Canine tooth removed; been a real nuisance for the past week. Of course they had to do the X-ray and exam and order antibiotics first. Used to just go get them pulled for $25-50.oo; This will cost the total of $175.oo what I paid for two tires for my Ranger truck w/ a lifetime warranty for repair of flats and replacement if can't be fixed. Better than their warranty!!!! They also want to pull the other 4 lowers later and make new upper and lower plate for $4;000.oo-the $175.00.  I had to ask if the dentist needed another down payment for the Mercedes!!! LOL! They didn't find the sarcastic humor in it; It must have been True!!

The joys of the "golden" years...! I now look like snaggle-toothed witch. I suspect all the medications I have to take (heart, blood pressure, chol, etc.) have weakened my teeth to the point that they shatter at the slightest pressure. I guess that's why we have to enjoy each day to the fullest. You never know when you're going to fall apart.
