Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hi Linda, Just wanted to let you know I thought about you while I was eating dinner last night. I tried out your recipe for porkchops and scalloped potatos and would rate them a 9 out of 10......I forgot the salt, otherwise it would have been a 10;) I love easy recipes and this was really easy and really good. The only thing that would have been better was if you cooked them instead of me! I do very little cooking as my husband wants to live.....sheesh. He is a very good cook and actually enjoys it. I usually stay out of the way and entertain myself by reading your website! Thanks, Judy
I am so glad that it turned out good for you. That has been my all-time childhood favorite dish. My grandpa used to make it for me everytime I came to visit.
Now I have a suggestion for your next meal. Try the "Oh My Slow Cooked Ribs". Both of your tummies will thank you and it is easier than the pork chops!
Made your Taco Soup yesterday. Awesome. It was a great end to a chilly day. Thanks for publishing the recipe. I even put a link to it in my blog today.
Oh, and I also used a crockpot liner for the first time. I had never heard of them until you mentioned them. What an easy way to clean up.

If you're not getting older...........you're dead!
The taco soup has become an absolute staple in our household! It's especially great on days like today when it's near freezing outside and snow is covering the ground. Yes, we can't wait until next year when we will be fulltiming and won't be in the snow any more, but for now the taco soup will keep us warm on the inside! My husband tried replacing the water with a can of beer and we liked the result. Also, anyone that hasn't tried the peach cobbler must do so. It's now a favorite around here and it's gotten fave reviews from the family too!
Hi Linda, I also love the taco soup recipe and share it with my friends when I make it. Last week I substituted a 26 oz can of condensed tomato soup instead of 1 1/2 cans of water. We all liked it better. My friend is going to take taco soup to the chile party where she works. She loves it too. Don Buzan
I made the "Slow Cooked Ribs" for company the other night and they were wonderful. We're having the leftovers tonight. Easy to put together in the small kitchen and most items I keep on hand. Now I will move on to other recipes. Thank you, Brenda

Linda and Howard, I have a question about the eggs-in-a-basket recipe you talked about in journal today. Do you flip the toast with the egg in it? Sounds hard to do. I love your recipes! I make them for my family at home and they love them.
Linda, I'm not usually a big fan of peach cobbler, but since your recipe looked so easy, I decided to give it a try. Now I LOVE peach cobbler!! And the Slow Cooked Ribs are to die for. Haven't tried the taco soup yet, but that might be next. If this keeps up, my hips are gonna be too wide to fit thru the door of the RV!!!
Linda, I have a question. I read in journal today that you fixed chicken in BBQ sauce that you had going in crock pot. I've looked back over your recipes.....especially for the ribs and the BBQ sauce. I can't find it under your main dish recipes. Is this a homemade sauce you make up? Am I just not looking in the right place for the recipe? Sounds wonderful with chicken!
Linda, I too tried the porkchop recipe last night and it was wonderful!! My hubby loved it. And the grapefruit recipe was wonderful as well, we had it for dessert. ( I know, we are strange :) Can't wait to try the others! Thank you so much! I am always looking for new recipes and ideas to keep meals exciting, and I truly found winners in your recipes. Thanks again.
Linda: I just had to let you know that your recipes are the first place I look when I am deciding what to fix. Last week we had two covered dish cookouts to attend, so I made the Peach Cobbler and the Broccoli Salad for the fish cookout and I made the Pineapple Butterscotch Pound Cake and the Sweet and Sour Beans for the Burger cookout! Everything was a big hit! Jim wants me to add ground beef to the Bean recipe next time - so I guess it will then be a Sweet and Sour Soup!
I have passed the Peach Cobbler recipe on to my sister and mom and they love how quick and easy it is, and everyone loves how good it tastes - especially with vanilla ice cream on top!! At my sister's suggestion, we add an extra can of peaches (minus the juice) and it works great!!
NOW, it's time to add some more new recipes to your online cookbook....LOL
