Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello from Washington

Kinda new at the forum thing, but  I have been reading Howard and Linda' blog for a while and I have gained a lot of information from all of you. It has been a dream of my husband and myself to hit the road. and it looks like that is going to happen in the next 6-7 months if all goes as planned. I hope to be able to meet some of you as time goes on.

My hometown is Olympia and I graduated high school there.  My mother now lives in Tumwater.  I hope you find life on the road as rewarding as we have.

The closest reasonable campground to Olympia we have found is Outback RV Park in Rochester, so coming back to visit can be a bit of trouble.   But we want to be able to use our satelite dish and have a big rig, smaller rigs have some other choices.  Of course if you have a relative with a big driveway that works quite nicely.

Pam: The handle "Olywa" gave it away to me, I knew you were in Olympia.

We will be back in the area sometime in the spring, we will be taking my mother to brunch on Mother's Day for sure. We stop by and visit my mother and some friends living in the area, normally more than once in the summer.  While there we would be glad to meet and talk about the RV lifestyle.
