Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
When DH retires in Dec, the first place we will go is to The Woodlands, TX (close to Conroe). We will stay there for a spell to visit with our daughter and granddaughter and catch our breath. Any recommendations to a place that is good near The Woodlands? We own no RV Park books yet, but I will purchase several and join Escapees soon.
Since your children live in the Woodlands I would highly recomend Rayford Crossing RV Resort.
They are located on the south end of the Woodlands off of Rayford Road. This park is less than two years old but a fine facility. Has full hook ups long pull throughs and many features such as large pool and spa, workout room, computer room with dsl, wi-fi (charge), cable TV
Our Travel group The Texas Boomers stay here regularly in fact we will be here for Thanksgiving and New Years eve. You woun't find a finer park in this area.
Join the Good Sams club and you will receive a 10% discount. The phone numbers is 281-298-8008 ask for Gwen. She and Billy own the resort and are really nice people.

Sceetshooter thanks for the suggestion of Rayford Crossing RV Resort. I went to their website and it is a wonderful park. I know where it is because our daughter likes a Chinese restaurant that is close by there. It looks wonderful and so beautifully maintained. Mostly we like the extra large grass areas for pets! We have a Yorkie and she will love the area too! Now all we need is a motorhome and we've got a plan! I have called about three motorhomes and am waiting on answers. We should be in The Woodlands by January! yea
