Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Well what is the general feeling after seeing the first episode last night.

Splitting them into ethnic groups could be interesting. Cowboy of the Asian group seems to be an interesting character - what do you all think?

And how about the white group, at it already .......somebody please bring the hose!!!!!

I have always liked SURVIVOR and will enjoy this season.  Adding an ethnic flavor is either going to make this show take-off again or kill it.  They have already had sponsors drop out citing "not because of the new ethnic theme" which means that is exactly the reason.  It will be a good glimpse into interactions of human diversity.

As far as Cowboy...He is just a laid back "hippie" very cool and unassuming.  He should do good because he won't needlessly upset people.

Hopefully this season will not make us

We love survivor! There is a standing order to friends and family not to call us on Thursday night!! This season should be interesting! It will be interesting when the tribes merge to see how the ethnic groups work together or not. One million dollars can make some people turn against their own mothers :) I find it fascinating to see how different people play the game. I missed the first part about the chickens (because DH insisted we would have time to get our TRIKKE ride in before it started) So we missed the first part. I expect the girl who let the chickens loose will be the first to be voted off of that team!! Someone tell me about the chickens.

This is what the website has...

"Nate and Sekou from Hiki step forward to exile Jonathan from Raro as punishment for stealing Yul's chicken when they first gathered supplies and disembarked their sailing vessel."

Jonathan took the Asians chicken so they had 2 instead of one.  He did it while Yul was doing other things...sort of "five-finger-discounted" the chicken!!

And I agree with you about the girl that let the chickens go...can you say "airhead".

.....and what about those two "stepping forward " and making the decision to exile Jonathan without consulting with their team mates. I understand their decision, but it wasn't a good idea to leave their team mates out of the decision making (as if they didn't matter). I guess the ladies let them know that they could stick together and make their own decisions. That guy was pretty sure of himself! It will be interesting to see how the ladies do and how the other guy interacts in an all girl environment.

The guy that got booted deserved it...very arrogant.  The other fellow will probably knuckle under to the women's whims just to stay on board.  Those lady's need a man for the next few weeks so this tribe is not completely annihilated...

I agree, it will be interesting to see how this works out for that group. I hate to say it, but I don't think in the history of Survivor, that a group of women have been able to stick together. Shame on us women

It takes me a few episodes to really sink my teeth into it.   I have not been let down yet with Survivor so I am sure that I will get into this one as much as the others.  I just can't wait until Thursdays now!

I was surprised that they integrated the groups so soon. I was looking forward to seeing how it all worked out as they went farther into the game. I liked the way they divided the teams. Each team got a mixed group, lets see how they get along now. I thought Cowboy would have been the first to get booted off. I guess this group hasn't had time to get tired of his talking like his old teammates. It seems like the men are always ready to get rid of the women one by one!!

I agree with you Paul and Bonnie.  I thought Cowboy would go.  Cecilia looked like a much stronger person than he did.  I was kind of disappointed with the challenge.  They had that challenge on a previous show.

Okay, how many of you are cheering for the Aitu tribe?!!!!!  They are working so good together and it is paying off.

I am starting to really like Ozzy.  He is an amazing competitor and seems like an all around good guy.

Hi, Linda! I agree with you...I didn't care for Ozzy at all to begin with , but he is "growing" on me....:)

Aitu tribe has really worked well together, and I enjoy watching them win the challenges. Who's your favorite to win right now?

I think I am leaning toward Ozzy.  We'll see how things pan out.  Yul is a contender also.

Was the Tribal Council twist shocking or what?

I am voting for Yul. I thought for sure last night that the bottle surprise would be whoever got voted out could in turn pick someone to take their place.

Wow!  This is cool!  Fulltimer Survivor fans!  Now I really fit in, even though I'm still watching it from my brick n mortar condo.  I'm with Linda on this one, Ozzie or Yul.  I hope they are the final two - it would be the first time the truly best made it!

It is hard not to cheer for the Aitu Tribe. They work so well together. It is as if the deserters gave them strength to fight for their team, like they wanted to show those two what they were missing. I can't figure out why Jonathan did that, it was a sure way to leave the game. Why would the other team trust some one who would turn on their own tribe? I can understand the girl, love makes you do stupid things I wonder if the Aitu team had lost and were at tribal council, if they would have made them vote two people off? They would have had to merge the two teams then I would think. I don't know how the writers of this show keep coming up with the twist to keep it interesting! go Survivors !Have any of you played the game on the Survivor Web site where you have to tell if the survivor is telling a true story? If you are wrong you lose a tourch. (you start out with four) If you keep at least one tourch, you see a never seen vidoe of the show.! I did well until I tried to guess the true story of the women. They must be good liers.

Well it happened last night!  We forgot to TIVO Survivor and I missed the first 15 minutes!!!!!!  I was able to realize quite quickly that a merge took place.

Ozzy rocks!!!!  When the challenge was explained I knew Ozzy was going to win.  He has been climbing those trees the entire show.

Yul is playing very well.  If is gets down to him and Jonathon, he is a sure thing to win!

Nate is gone,  Ozzie wins the immunity and Jonathan played both sides but voted with Yul's tribe.   But Nate's tribe was going to vote off Ozzie until he got immunity,  then talk of voting Yul off,  not knowing he had the immunity idol.   Surprise, Surprise.   Go Ozzie or Yul.  We Love the Show.   Nate made several bleep, bleep, bleep, and more bleeps about Jonathan.   It will be very interesting next week.   GBY....

Was probably a great move to sway Jonathon back over as they really needed the numbers and it is hard to imagine someone would vote for Jonathon to receive a million dollars against ANY other of the contestants as he has screwed almost everyone! I also think that Jonathon and several of the others plays into Yuls hands as far as them getting together to vote him out. Lets face it between tribal councils things change so drastically that it would be hard to keep everyone in sync to vote on him 2 weeks in a row.

Yes, Ozzie and Yul are the two top players from the physical standpoint. Some people might think Jonathan is playing the game the way it is meant to be played. He is at least keeping himself from being voted off. His way of playing just goes against the grain for most of us. After all this game is both a physical and mental game. I think the other players will be trying to keep Jonathan in the game to be with them in the final two, with the idea that no one will vote for Jonathan to win the million since he has stabbed everyone in the back. However, this game has all kinds of surprises. It just proves season after season that human nature is hard to predict. (That is what makes the game so interesting.) It will be interesting to see how the teammates that became so close will interact with each other now that it is an "every man for himself" game.

Linda we didn't tape the show either, but we went online and watched it on CBS.com the next day.

Well Jonathan made it through another show. I hold to my theory that he is the favorite to be in the final two knowing that no one likes him.
I love Jeff's comment to Candice, "the kiss was nice, but if he really loved you he would have given you the immunity idol."
The game continues to be interesting. I wonder if the teammates will turn on Ozzie as it gets closer to the end.

That is a good question Bonnie, Ozzy really has been pretty quiet and going with the flow. I can't think of anyone he has ticked off lately. I think Jonathon would have went last night if Candice hadn't sawed out her coffin by chewing everyone out!: certainly Jonathon would be the preference to go to the final 2 though.....if you could put up with his arrogant ass! I would be sleeping with one eye open with him around.

That.s right, Ozzie hasn't ticked off anyone, but that is the way the game goes. Ozzie is so good at all the challenges, and everyone likes him, so he would be a shoe in for the million if he is in the final two. So, those who aren't so well liked, would not want to be in the final two with him because he would win. So, usually when it gets closer to the end they start picking off the good guys and the most athletic. Yul has a good chance too, but they are accusing him of controlling everything, so some of the people on the jury don't like him because of that. I think Yul is trying to arrange it so he will be in the final two with Jonathan because no one likes him. It will be interesting if it comes down to voting off people closer to the end. If I am right about Yul, it means he is going to have to vote off his buddy Ozzie and that could lead to some really hard feelings which could influence the jury vote in the end. What an interesting game. Who can predict human nature!

Human nature is right. Every time we think someone will get voted off they swap and vote someone else! Go figure.

I think Aitu made a huge mistake voting Jonathan off last night.  They should have voted Adam off while they had the chance.  They had Jonathan right where they wanted him.

Big mistake in my opinion!

Linda your right again, big mistake Adam is just after the women and additional weight to carry around and can't be trusted at all.   Jonathan was no threat to anyone.   Now I think Yul wants to get rid of Ozzie and Adam will help because Ozzie is the best in the Tribe.  On well when you lay with a Snake you will get bitten.....GBY...

You guys are right on the button I think. Everyone hated Jonathon so much they could not see he would be the perfect person to take to the end. It would be a no brainer to win against that guy. Now it starts to become a cut throat game. Soon I think they will have to band together and vote for Yul to at least get him to use the Idol up so it will be an even playing field. Danger is being on the chopping block when he saves himself. Jonathon would have been the perfect guinea pig for that but to late now.

I agree Linda, I just knew that Yul was trying to keep Jonathan so he would be a part of the final two, knowing no one likes him. I can't figure out what they were thinking voting him off now. Sometimes people get so caught up in their dislike for another player, they don't think things through logically. I am almost sure they will vote Ozzie off soon. His athletic abilities and the fact that everyone likes him make him a threat to the others.

I am interested in seeing how everyone acts toward Jonathan on the final night. Often during the game, they will all hate a player, but on the final night when they are all together and it is all over, they all have a different attitude toward that person.

What would really be funny is if one of the two women (who seem to be flying under the radar) slip through and end up winning. Everyone was focused on Jonathan, next it will be Ozzie and don't seem to be worried about the women.

With Yul having the Idol yet he is gonna pretty much be assured a spot in the final. They will probably vote Adam off next leaving them at four. I think he will persuade the women to help him vote ozzy off next. If that happens he is in. Wonder how they are gonna do this all on sunday.

The idol will only get Yul to the final 4.  But I was wondering the same about Sunday.  They have to get rid of 3 more people  to get to the final 2 within the 2-hour finale. That's 3 elimination rounds during the show, plus the final tribal counsel. Sounds Like tonight will be a busy night!

Maybe they are going to have one of those eleminate two in one deals on Sunday. If Ozzie can keep up the good work on the challenges, maybe he can make it. I am glad whats her name got eleminated last week, she was getting on my nerves, flirting with everyone. I would hate to see someone like that in the final two. It sounds like something interesting is going to happen on Sunday. Maybe someone is going to steal Yul's immunity idol! (Can they do that?) It is interesting that the women are still quietly hanging in there. Everyone is concentrating on the men who are a threat physically in the challenges. I agree Linda: GO OZZIE!!!!

My son called the other night during Survivor and I wouldn't answer the phone. He didn't leave a message on the machine so I assumed it wasn't important. I called him back and said, "unless you are dying or bleeding you know not to call me on Survivor night!! " He said, yes, I remembered what night it was and just hung up, I knew you would not answer!!! So, I guess he will be glad to be able to call me on Thurdays again. I am with you Linda, it sure seems like this season went by quickly. I think when time flys by quickly, it means we are getting old.

Sometimes it's not always how hard you play. Looks like the swaying vote was Adam which Yul set up quite nicely. Ozzy still got a nice vehicle and I believe 100k, if he can't go to school on that then he apparently didn't want to go! Ozzy most likely came out of this as the favorite player and I am sure before long he will have amassed his 1 million dollars in advertisements. As for Yul, he should have told eveyone to vote for him and then he could use the Idol and the final would be a tie breaker like they had but it would of been out of Ozzy and Yuls hands. That way the tribe would have stayed true to the end without having to turn on another. It basically worked out the same way but I don't think Becky did Yul any favors by letting it be know she was offered the Idol. I thought that was kind of self serving on Beckys part as a way to get some votes (which didn't work).

Was nice to see another auto Manufacturer step up and take Gm's place. I wonder if they see the pressure they gave into as a foolish move now.

I think they should have thrown them for a loop and on the last tribal council let the jury decide who would be voted off.

I feel so bad he didn't win!

He seems like a really neat guy, but it was a great show this season!

Now we have to wait until the next one.  Boo Hoo!

Poor Ozzy! We were rooting for him all the way, so we're disappointed, too. I would have to say, though, that this is the first season where we actually didn't hate anyone in the final four.. ! so, guess there's hope for us yet, and we can't wait for the new season to begin!
