Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hello from the Hogans

We are Dennis and Brenda and our long-haired dachshund is Harley.  Our business sold in June so we are retired.  Our home has not sold in Goshen,Ky. but will list it this week with a realtor and be out of here on the 31st as full-timers ( For sale by owner didn't work, bummer)  We are loading up a u-haul with the things we want to keep and putting them in a warehouse we own in Il. Spending time with family and friends then headed for Ca. Three adult children and spouses live there.  One grandson who is 20 months old and one due the 26th of Sept. and one due the 21st of Oct. Three little boys under the age of 2.  They need grandparents (for sure the parents do)  We have a workamping position in Palomar Mountain State Park Oct.1st -Dec. 31st so very excited about that volunteer job.  Dennis will actually be doing the work because Brenda will be very busy with babies and new mommies and daddies.

We have been planning for this lifestyle for several years and very excited to get started.  No commitments as to how long it will last but we hope for a long time.  We own a 40' Rexhall Rose Air which we love and tow a Honda.  Looking forward to a simpler lifestyle and meeting all the great people out there and on this forum. Have been following Howard and Linda since they left here and certainly appreciate all their information.

Welcome to the forum Dennis and Brenda.

If you happen to travel through Central California (Fresno), we can offer you 30 amps, water and a curb to park on for the night. We would love to meet you.

Good luck in your new adventures....

Thank you so much for the offer and we will certainly keep your information. The babies (and parents) are in So. Ca. not far from where we will be workamping until the end of the year but after that we hope to do some traveling north before returning to the midwest for the spring.

Brenda
