Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I have a fifth wheel forest River sandpiper and i picked up last week. I had a brand new splendid stackable washer dryer installed. I was one load all good. I washed another and the RV drain is not sucking the water out. My washer drain is good the hose is in the RV pipe and the water floods over it in the floor. I’m so upset. I just shop vac the bedroom
I may not be of much help because I'm not a technician, and the forum is practically dead nowadays. I am the only one that is probably checking into the forums, and that is primarily because I am the moderator for the forum. But with that said, let me see if I can help.
I'm presuming that you have opened your grey tank into which the washer will drain. If that tank happens to be full, it will back up and flood out in the places that may be the lowest in elevation in the RV. That may include the shower drain and the washer drain.
If the grey tank has plenty of room, it may be that the washing machine drain is not getting enough air for the water to go down the drain. That may require having a look at how much space is around the drain line from the washer and the size of the drain pipe. If your first load worked fine, then I really don't know if this is an answer to your problem.
Sorry that I can't be of more help, but I am definitely NOT a plumber.
Terry
