220v for washing machine?

Yes and no. The reason I say this is it looks like you have 220 volts available in your RV. If you can find outlets that are on 2 separate circuits, it will probably work, but the receptacles won't be in the same area most likely. You will also have an issue with connecting the cord to the appliance. You will be trying to connect 2 male plugs to each other and regardless of their gender identity it won't work in the electrical world. If it were me, I would just run a 220 line to where it needs to be in your RV and be done with it. You could follow the current wire routing but you would need the appropriate sized wire and the appropriate receptacle for the male plug on the washer. As you don't seem to know a whole lot about electricity, I would not recommend this as a DIY project for you. I hope this helps.

Another thing that comes to mind is why is the washer 220 volts. Most home washing machines are 110 volts so a 220 washer must be a monster. Good luck.

Arcaguy, thanks so much for the info. We're having a challenge finding a washer that will fit in the RV, for a price I want to pay. We found a Bosch that will fit perfectly, but it's a 220v. We're weighing our options & haven't decided yet what we're going to do.

Look at the Splendid. Yes it’s on the higher side, BUT, by the time you get down messing around with the 220V service, get into parks that can’t support the 220 V required you’ll be glad you stayed with 110V. Besides there is additional costs to get your 220V. This is, in my humble opinion, One of those times it’s would be better to spend the extra dollars.

I replaced ours with a LG inverted washer. Got it from Bestbuy. Really like it. Spins out super fast and clothes dry quicker since less damp. I do believe they had to order it though. 120v. Your question though puzzles me. See lots of 120v washers. Most dryers are 240v.

Bosch makes a few washer models with a 240 volt water heater built in.

If going tat route I would look seriously at heat pump dryers. Very efficient.
