Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I remember when I first joined this group! It sure was more of a close knit community of RVer"s!
Sorry to say but it has become like the other RV Websites! I know things change, but I've found it one of the many reasons other than I am a stationary RVer since health problems and finances have changed to!
I am going to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year; or how ever you celebrate it or don't!
PIEERE!

Pierre ... I agree that the group has changed a bit. It seems, to me, that it is much quieter than it was. I feel very fortunate that I became a full timer in 2016 and was able to learn SO MUCH on this board. This truly was where I came with my hundreds of questions. It made our transition into full time RVing fairly easy. Still a little daunting, but we pressed on and succeeded. That said, Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you as well!

I'll agree this forum has become very quiet. But then so have all of the other forums that I follow. Maybe new RVers aren't logging into forums anymore, just Facebook and U-Tube?

Having come off the road three years ago yesterday I seldom come to this site anymore. But I have fond memories of the people I've met and gratitude for the information I received here. I started following Howard and Linda way back in March 2007. We full-timed on the road starting January 2010. What a trip it was.
Fortunately we found our perfect home in north Alabama at the right time. We had just enough time to do the renovations and clearing of land prior to Leonard's health making it no longer possible for him to do much. (On oxygen 24/7 due to Pulmonary Aterial Hypertension)
Greetings and well wishes to all who continue to travel and those like us who have hung up the keys.

Sorry to hear this Phyllen! Pray the Docs can take care of him like they been doing for me since April 2012! I am not to far up the pike from you both! Maybe we can put an eye on each other in the future! Hope and pray it is the best new year!

To Pierre: We are an easy drive from I-65, just 8 miles. We are surrounded by fields and forest. Out in the country a bit. We have two RV sites on our property. One water and electric, one FHU. We love RV visitors. If ever in this area, we will welcome you.
