There is lots to do in Q. Many happy hours with friends, geocaching, ATVing, Quartzsite Sportsman Vacation RV Show, checking out the many venders, having a brew at Beer Bellies Adult Day Care, dinner at Silly Al’s, Hi Jolly Monument, Celia’s Rainbow Garden, Quartzsite Desert Flyers RC Airfield, Quartzsite Museum, Gold Eye Mine Tour, day trips to the Desert Bar near Parker, loop drive to the Parker Dam, Castle Dome Mine Museum and Ghost Town, Palm Canyon, Imperial Dam area, Yuma Proving Grounds military museum on the way to the Imperial Dam area...just to name a few things.

We enjoyed visiting the chewing gum museum (don't laugh, it was pretty cool), hiking/rock climbing in the Kofa National Wildlife Refuge, playing disc golf right by the RC Airfield mentioned above. Also as mentioned above, TONS of geocaching. Lots of stuff to do in Yuma too.

Exactly what I do everywhere...walk, bike, eat, meet people, watch the sunrise and set, look for birds, animals, reptiles, read, use the Internet, examine other rigs for ideas, fly my flags, sleep, wax a side of the TT, watch local news, visit the closest town, look for Mexican restaurants etc. v

I don’t get Quartzite ... I don’t want to argue, but I just don’t get it. Those who do, help keep the crowds away from where I want to go, so there is a win-win in there somewhere! Long live the difference in all of us 😂😂😂

Neither did we. We did a week there, in January during the RV Show, so we've "been there, done that". But that just isn't our style. I love the desert in the winter, but Q just isn't our cup of tea. Which is good because it gets full enough in January without us there.

Agreed!! We went in March 2018 (to Howard & Linda's AWESOME boondocking rally), nice and empty plus weather was still tolerable.

We have done Quartzsite a few times I guess and we have done it with large groups which was fun, we have done it with small groups which was fun, and we have done it a few times during the big tent event which was an experience but now we tend to make it a stop before the busy season arrives and during our migration south and use it as a spot to unwind from a busy summer and before our busy winter activities begin. So what do we do, we walk into the desert each day and you never know what you come across, Check out Celia's Garden, The RC Airfield, and, well I won't retype it all but everything Steve and Dianne mentioned above.
