Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We put Christmas lights around the slide out frames inside our rig using small 3M Command Hooks. We put up a small tabletop tree in the corner between our sofa and the fireplace. We also place small decorative items all around to make the rig look festive, for example, Christmas pillows and blanket for the sofa. We have a fifth wheel and we are thinking about hanging a wreath from the kingpin area. Some people decorate the outside of their rigs, but we haven’t. Hope this gives you some ideas.
We have a small tree on the dining room table. When we're parked for more than a day I have my "liturgical lights" out across the front of the MH. Since we're now in Advent I have blue lights out. On the 24th I'll switch to white for Christmas.
We go all out, we have a 8" tall stuffed Snowman and a 3" tall Santa that dances when in the sun that we stick in the windshield. In fact I spent a entire 3 minutes setting it up last night. That's actually more than we used to do in the sticks & bricks LOL!!
I have greenery garland that I hang, along with lights, around the top of my slide trim that I hang ornaments from. I also get those sticky gummy things from the dollar store for the windows.
