Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Has anyone ever dealt with these people? They use (or are) ebay motors. They claim that they can get our asking price for our Foretravel, for an up-front fee of $400. We're asking $39,900 for it, and I'd hate to give them $400 and then find out that they think the NADA price of $10,000 is actually right.
I haven't heard of them but I can recommend PPL Motorhomes in Houston Texas for Consignment sales. they charge a Flat 10% fee but they will get you top dollar for your Rv. pplmotorhomes.com

Ahh, no. We went to PPL last week to look at an Airstream and ask about selling our Foretravel. They came right out and said that they would buy our coach for about 20% of what it is worth and sell it for about 25% of actual worth. They ONLY go by NADA. PPL is a good place to look for a bargain on a camper, but not the place to sell a high-end coach.
I talked to an individual who has actually used this company. He listed his rig there at a cost of $600. After no activity they talked him into sending them another $100 to list it on eBay Motors. After two months and $700 he still has his rig. Later this week I'll get an ad up on RV Trader. I'm not going to talk to this outfit anymore.
PPL sold my 5 year old 268RL Outback that was 5 years old for what I had originally paid for it new that I purchased from one of the RV wholesalers. Minus their 10% I feel I got double the cash out of it that I could have sold it for myself. also I have friends who used them and got top dollar for their RV. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. For your Info it doesn't cost you anything for them to sell your RV other than their 10% fee and a Texas inspection fee which I think was $5.00 My brother traded a class A Georgie Boy for a Nemar Kountry Star their and is very happy with his deal. also PPL is the Largest Consignment dealer in the USA

I bought my MH from PPL. They will push you for added fees for cleaning and detailing, fixing broken items, etc. Just say no. They will try to get both buyer and seller to pay add-ons on both ends. I don't blame them as that is their business model. I thought I got a good deal and would buy from them again, but I didn't pay for their inspection fees, etc. I shopped at their Houston location. When we shopped there earlier this year they had a lot of junk on their huge lot, as well as some nicer units too. Decent units for a fair price don't last long as they attract lots of buyers.
