Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
At the end of each year we try to remind those that are in the market for an RV extended warranty to try to lock one in before year end. This is from our Extended Warranty partner Wholesale Warranties:
RV Warranty Pricing and Eligibility Changes
There’s a chill in the air, which means the holidays are approaching and the new year will be here before we know it! What does this mean for RV Extended Warranties? The new year will bring very important changes:
Warranty Prices on All Models Will Go Up
With the exception of brand new models, all models will become one year older when 2019 hits, raising prices on extended warranties across the board.
Motorhomes with a Model Year of 2003 and Older Become Ineligible for Full Coverage
After January 1, 2019, all 2003 vehicles will no longer be eligible for comprehensive coverage.
Towable RVs with a Model Year of 2003 and Older and Motorhomes with a Model Year of 1998 and Older Become Ineligible for ANY Coverage
After January 1, 2019, all 1998 motorhomes and 2003 towables will no longer be eligible for any type of coverage.
