Welcome! Dry camping is great! Recharging your batteries is the main issue....unless....you have a solar system. Then there’s no issue. A solar system consists of adequate batteries, panels and controller.

 Not to put too fine a point on it, but even with solar you can have issues when it comes to charging. One should still have an alternate method to charge... genny, or CG power being the two most common for a 5er, A larger motor home will likely have a genny, a Class C maybe not. One cannot count on the sun to be there everyday for the time needed to recharge batteries. But at Q, in the winter... I'd guess the odds of inadequate sunlight are low given location and time of year. Boondockers could get lucky and not need a genny or shore power at all.

Adequate panels cannot overcome 3 days of rain, no sun and very short winter days. Not that we ever experienced that in Q. Ha, winter of 2016/2017, super wet year and very little sun for part of the time in Q. So glad we had the generator.
