Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

New to Forum

Hello, I'm Bob from Florida.  My wife and I have been camping for a long time with tents, pop-ups, and most recently a class A, 2011 Thor Hurricane.  We are in the process and are working a deal now on a 40' Class A DP.  My wife and I served in the Army with for about 8 years apiece.  Since then we have been in the medical fields for longer than we can remember.  My wife is a retired Nurse but still works one day a week.  I am looking at retirement  in 343 days.  (who's counting )We are looking forward to seeing some more of our great country.  With one grandchild in Fayetteville, AR. and another on the way in NY it looks like we have our first destinations planned.  Then hopefully to the west for some trips.   Love to fish (Especially Fly Fishing) and Seeing historical and "weird" attractions along the way.  Of course, great food is always a plus.  Looking forward to learning things from this forum.  Thanks,

You will be surprised at how fast the next 342 days will fly - - and when it gets down to 3 months, it whizzes by as you are trying to figure out how to get everything finished! All part of the adventure. biggrin

Ask away. Someone will have an idea or two on any question you post.
