Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Jenn, welcome! If you don't have RV experience I'd suggest renting for a couple of weeks to see if it works for you, hubby and your businesses. Might also help you decide on what type of RV.

I grew up in a tiny trailer and Cam was in the Navy so were pretty use to small spaces. As for our businesses they are mostly online that we can do through our phones.
Renting one wouldn't bad we know what we want but getting the feel for it would be good also. Any recomendations on who to rent through? We live south of Houston in a small town. I'll have to look and see if anyone in Houston has rentals.

LOL Steve the last the nest is following daddy's foot steps and leaves for boot camp roughly August 26th, 2018 which is 2 days after her 18th birthday.
Part of being here is getting the advise we can get. So far we know we want a 30+ foot toy hauler the rest were iffy on. We're booking a weekend to head up to Katy to see several that we've found online.
You are north west of us. We're south of Houston in a small town if you head 288 south to the beach you go right through our town.

We hope to buy our first RV within 6 months to a year. Our last child leaves the nest next August.
Better get that RV by August! Don't want to give that last child a nest to move back to.
But seriously, This is the place to get advise on anything RV and full time RV related.
Where in Texas are you? I'm live in Bastrop county but work in Austin.
Steve

Hi Cam and Jenn and welcome to the site. We're in our 9th year of full timing and are staying in south Texas, bout half way between Houston and Galveston for the summer for medical reasons. Good luck in your decisions for your new adventures.
Hey! We have somewhat similar situations! We too are going to be new to the life... and our last will be graduating high school May 2018! I'm a nurse and going to start travel nursing!
