Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Can anyone tell me if the Lifestyle Luxury RV company went out of business? I did see that two places each had one 2017 model. And I thought I may have read something about no longer in business. We are looking to buy another 5th wheel and I was impressed with the looks of it but know nothing about them. Can anyone tell me if they have had any problems with them. I am also not sure if they did go out of business if I want to purchase one because I don't know who I would go to with problems. My husband and I have a 2013 F350 Diesel CC dully. I was looking at the Cardinals and would like full body paint. Thank you for any suggestions and/or information you could give me.
They did close - and you asked has anyone had problems - the answer is yes - there are RV Dreamers here on the forum that had a lot of MAJOR problems - I will reach out to them and let them know you are looking for info about Lifestyles.
I am a Lifestyle owner. They did close their doors last June (2016). I would have to say... pass them by. Our first Lifestyle had a broken frame at less than 9 months young. We spent 217 nights in a hotel (we are full timers) and finally left the factory with a replacement rig January 28, 2016. We were reimbursed $30,000 for expenses which is probably one of the reasons they closed their doors... very poor management. I could go on and on, but I'm down with the flu right now. Yes, their rigs are beautiful, but looks can be deceiving.
When you are feeling better I would be interested in a little more detail about the frame issue. We also have a Lifestyle fifth wheel and so far have only experienced minor problems. Only have about 5000 miles on the rig though so it could be too soon. The Titan frame was at the time partly why this unit was high on our list. That and we really liked the floor plan and the interior finish. Heard so much negative about Lippert frames that I looked for others on purpose. Sure hope extended warranty steps up. Fingers crossed.
We really like our Lifestyle but not sure I would buy one now without a company to back it up. Right now I would have a serious look at grand design momentum 376th. Wish it was available during our search. Nice looking unit and well backed from the feedback I have read.
