Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hi, we are Milt and Debbie, we are buying our full time RV and it will be ready for us in January or February 2017. We will be selling our house in Spring of 2017. I (Milt) will leave my current job in Fall of 2017 and take my talents on the road, contracting at nuclear plants or other training jobs I can find. We (Debbie and I and our 2 Yorkies) are signed up to attend the RV-Dreams Rally May 8, 2017 in Tennessee. We look forward to meeting some of you there. Anyone else out there working as a contractor at nuclear plant outages?
Not working at anything, but familiar with Nuke plant outages. Not too many of them and the outages are infrequent, so those things will cramp your travel opportunities. We will be at the Spring Rally and hope to see you there. However, do it your way and go for it. Best of luck a Safe Travels!

My wife Robin, and I, are heading to the rally next Spring too. We are looking at full timing in Spring 2018. I am not looking to work any more at plants although I have spent my career training, building, starting up, and managing power plants for 38 years.
Welcome Milt and Debbie. Check out early posts on our blog to see how we got started and the one year on the road post has some tips as well. We are 18 months in and loving it.
