Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
This retired stuff ain't all it's cracked up to be! Today is moving day and I've already decided I'll have to get a job to to rest up! put the fiver in the park this morning and will spend our first full time night tonight. Actually the stress is already gone. Now if someone will buy the house quick I'll be a happy boy!

Mark ... we're right there with you. Just a couple more weeks and we'll be where you are. Full timing may be a blast, but you gotta go thru a LOT of crap to get there. I am REALLY READY for this to be over so we can get on with the fun stuff. Hope the house sells quickly and you can get on with it.

When we went through the same routine (June '13), the first person to look at our house bought it. So, it was on the market for less than a week. May it be so for you as well.

Welcome to the road…but if you're like me you won't really feel retired for a year…took me almost that long. We look at our calendar now…it's filled with choir, social events, Elks volunteer stuff, bike rides and the like…and we keep asking ourselves how we ever managed to have jobs and still get anything done.
And we still wake up. at 0500 or so most mornings…doesn't matter whether the alarm is set or not.
Welcome to the "pants optional club" sarge and thanks for your service. You will find the military campgrounds are a great benefit.

Congratulations! So where will you be headed to first?
Thanks everyone for the nice responses. First stop, Denver. Now, you probably think we just don't understand this whole snowbird thing. To some extent you might be right. Truth is, I'll put up with a little cold to spend all the holidays with the grand babies. in January We're off to Alabama and Florida for family and friends. Never has 'livin the dream' meant so much.
