Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

RV Properties in the Texas Tropics

If you're looking for an RV property in the beautiful Texas Tropics give me a call at 956-900-8487 or check out my website: www.MovingWithCarol.com.

Most of my lot listings are in Retama Village in Mission TX but I can help you find/purchase a property almost anywhere in the Rio Grande Valley.

Why contact me rather than another realtor?

  • Well, first of all, I'm an RVer so I understand not only the real estate market, but also the special requirements of RVers.  For example, there is a lot listed here that is in a great location and has a really cute coach house.   It's also listed at a great price.   The only problem with it is that the RV parking pad is fairly short and slopes to one side, really only making it suitable for a short rig.   So if you have a 40 foot motorhome, I'm going to warn you about that... Now if you have a Sprinter Van it could be perfect!
  • I've also been a member of this forum for a long time and consider you all my extended family.  So I'm going to treat you like family and friends.   It's more important to me that you make the right decision than that I make a commission.  Just ask my husband

Why South Texas?

  • The weather is fabulous!
  • The cost of living is lower than most of the other southern options.
  • Low crime rates.  Recent FBI data rates our border cities as some of the safest in the country.
  • Friendly people -- the local population loves Winter Texans.
  • No hurricanes -- at least here in Mission.
  • You can go to the beach for the day, but don't have to worry about salt water on your rig.
  • We get to be neighbors!

So give me a call or email me at Carol@MovingWithCarol.com if you are considering a spot in south Texas.   I promise... no hard sell.
