Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hello! New here, don't even have our RV yet, still in the research stage but we have stated that we have a 5-6 year plan. We should have our RV by then that we will use on weekends and holidays until such a time as we are able to go full time. The 5-6 year plan is in place due to our daughter being in college and she should be out bu then and she wants to travel with us. We will still be pretty young at the time, early 50's. We should all be able to convey our full time jobs that we have at that time into travel jobs.
So far all of the information that I have read on here and the main rv-dreams page has been very helpful and hope to continue to learn from all of you, so thanks in advance for all the help.
Welcome aboard, seems there are more and more of us either figuring out how to take the full time jobs on the road or figuring out how to escape before "official" retirement. It's a great way to enjoy those pre-retirement years!!
