Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

DIY Mods for the Outside

Hi All,

Lee finally finished our DIY Mods page for the outside of the camper.  If you want to check out his step by step instructions here they are.  I know many folks were curious at the rally during the open house on how he did certain things.

Great mods. Sometimes it makes you wonder why the mfr didn't put them in from the get go.  Of course some of the time it's obvious, they are building to a price point.  Don't ya just love finding hidden spaces?

Wow, very impressive! I'd like to move our Progressive Surge protector and Autoformer inside, but we don't really have the skills. I'd feel a lot better if they were safely tucked in out of the weather and away from harm. It would be nice to have the remote monitor for the surge protector too. Our trailer came with the steps up to the bedroom that open up. It's surprising how much will fit in that small space. Those two steps house our electric screwdriver case, all of our central vac hose and attachments plus lots of other misc. stuff.

Thanks for sharing. Great ideas.

We saw the sewer hose storage during the recent rally and thought it was a great idea.  Frank was planning to install one in our new rig.  The step by step instructions and the photos are really helpful.  Thanks for taking the time to put this together and for sharing the ideas!
