Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Jayco Pinnacle 36REQS vs. Montana 3665RE

We are looking to purchase our first 5th wheel are leaning toward either a 2012 Jayco Pinnacle 36REQS or a 2010 Montana 3665RE.  Does anyone have knowledge or experience with either rig?  We would love to hear your thoughts.

We have a 2014 36REQS Pinnacle. We absolutely love it. We've owned 6 Jaycos since 1981 and have been super satisfied with all of them. If we did have a problem, Jayco has stood behind their product 110%. Never had any trouble with warranty. They have a 2 year warranty, where many other brands only have a 1 year. Friends own an Alpine made by Keystone (similar to a Montana) and have been very disappointed and had no support from manufacturer when they had a problem under warranty. We would highly recommend Jayco.

We've lived full time for 6 years now in our 09 3665RE and love the floor plan...especially all the windows. We've had many visitors over the years that were wowed by this model. We've had our issues over the years but who hasn't considering you're putting these rigs through an earthquake every time you move them. Keystone always looked after us with our initial warranty and so glad we have the extended warranty as well. The most serious issues we've had were failure on the front landing legs and bedroom slide creep. (Both made by Lippert)

Good luck! smile
