Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I'm going to look @ this camper tonight. Can anyone please take a look @ the ad and let me know your honest opinion? Is it a good/great deal? What questions should I ask that haven't been answered by the ad? Anything I should be be looking for, regarding issues?
One thing the seller told me is that the test module for the black tank does not always give an accurate reading. They had no problems with this being an issue (in other words, they thought it was something they could live with).
Your guidance and 2 cents would be invaluable to me! Thank you!
make sure the coach is hooked up to water and full power for test.......be very careful as you look at it and look everywhere in cabinets....under couches around vents for sagging...soft floors......this unit was fully repainted so water damage could have been an issue and covered up.......other than that this is a good entry level weekender but would not survive for any duration as a fulltime rig........good luck

Mike would know more about evaluating the trailer than I would, in that regard I'd heed his comments.
I'm not clear how you plan to move it about. You have a Prius, it will not tow that trailer so you'll need a more substantial vehicle... will you be trading the Prius?

I may trade in the Prius, but not yet. I'm going to look for a place locally where I can try living in this trailer for a few weeks before I go anywhere and see how the experience goes. When I get an adjunct teaching position, I'll pay a friend to haul it there for me, then park it in a good, safe place and live there.
if your going to leave it in a stationary setting it would do well for a while.......my reason for saying it wouldnt do well for fulltiming is that it is an entry level camper designed for weekending .....remember pulling a camper down the road subjects it to a force similar to an earthquake ......just from the pictures I can already see seam issues and the interior repaint without inspection worries me

Actually, I bought the camper last night. That's why the ad is gone. Lucky Mike, I didn't see your post until afterwards. (( I am going to try to keep it stationary for long periods of time and keep towing to a minimum. I had to make a decision and, well, I will pray that all will work out perfectly.
Well congrat's....Hope it all works out for you.
So do you see a bit of concept of what you're going to get for $6,000.00?
I couldn't see how you were going to buy a good motorhome for six grande.
In my personal opinion the one you bought is a bit high in price for the age.
Like many have said about "Hidden Damages" being covered up........
I had a 2006 Jayco that looked like brand new inside and out. A person could always smell a musty smell when first go in it. There were spots on the roof that were rotted from water penetration through the roof membrane. That was an issue Jayco new about but they did nothing for me as it was off warranty.
I ended up paying $5400 for it. I am simply crossing my fingers and praying this will work out. It's a start to this adventure and I may be able to upgrade to an RV one day. I'm simply thankful that I was able to find something and that God provided the means.
